Author Guidelines

Articles must be written in English, single-spaced, in two-column format, with a length of 3,500–8,000 words. Authors’ names must not appear in the manuscript but should be entered in the metadata on the Open Journal System (OJS). Authors must complete their profile including full affiliation details.

Title

8–12 words, concise, and reflecting the content of the article.

Abstract

200–250 words, containing objectives, methods, results, and originality. Written in one paragraph without references.

Keywords

3–5 relevant keywords.

Introduction

Contains background, literature review, and research objectives showing novelty.

Methods

Clearly explain research design, procedures, and data analysis.

Results and Discussion

Results presented objectively; discussion interprets findings and connects to previous studies.

Conclusion

Answers research questions and suggests future research.

Acknowledgment

Mentions funding sources or contributions.

References

At least 80% from recent primary sources (last 5 years). Use IEEE style with reference manager tools (Mendeley, Zotero, etc.).

JITIKOM – JOURNAL OF TECHNOLOGY AND COMPUTER SCIENCE does not charge any fees to authors.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format. The file name should not exceed 50 characters including spaces.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics rather than underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at appropriate points.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
To comply with double-blind peer review policy, authors’ names must not appear in the manuscript file and should only be included in the OJS metadata.
Authors agree to bear administrative costs only if the manuscript is withdrawn during the review process.
Authors have completed the authorship contribution form and data availability statement, and uploaded them during submission.
Authors confirm that the manuscript is the result of original human intellectual work. The use of AI-assisted tools must be disclosed if applicable.
Authors declare that they have no competing interests, or have clearly disclosed them in the manuscript.
